- Swap before entering the Enguarde barrel to get solo Dixie for 7-1 after damage boosting
- If the lurchins line up correctly, as shown in the video, you can get a quick hit on the first phase. This is random and if you do not get good spawns, you will have to do an extra stab to hit Barbos.
- If you do get the fast hit, you can sometimes get an automatic double stab the next time you press Y. To avoid this happening during the second phase, an extra stab is done for safety at 0:17 in the video.
- It's also possible to get a double stab if you take damage during a lunge.
- If you do the second phase as shown in the video, you can stop Enguarde's momentum after stabbing by pressing A.
- A good visual cue for lining up Enguarde to perform the second phase is a faint line in the coral to the left of Barbos, emphasized in the image below.
