- Bear coin count: 34
- Try to cut the corners as closely as possible to save time.
- Entering the 2nd bonus without getting hit can be tricky. You can slow down your vertical speed by pressing down+B to avoid getting hit by the Bazza. If you take a hit, you can pick up the DK barrel at 1:46 and swap Kongs underwater.
- As long as you mash Y as Enguarde, you cannot get hit by anything in this stage.
- To cancel Enguarde's charge at 1:40 briefly tap left, then you can press right and Y to continue stabbing.

Notes
- You can enter the first bonus earlier by more aggressively swimming towards the bonus. To do this, go around the fish at 0:03 and go straight down until the opening for the Bazza goes off screen. Then hold down + right to go straight towards the bonus.
- If you land not too far right of the Koin while picking up the barrel, you can do a small jump and throw the barrel to pick up the DK koin faster.
- Should you land too far right, right after picking up the keg you can hold left for a short amount of time to move left without turning around.
- Timesave depends on execution. The DK koin pickup in this particular video saves approximately 0.15 seconds over the normal DK coin pickup.
