*Only messed with this for a bit, but it seems like sometimes you get a faster roll through the Mini Necky than other times. When you get the fast roll the strat isn't bad, but if you don't you can't seem to make it. Could use more testing though.

Notes:

  • Roll Momentum Conservation is used after the roll through the first 2 snakes to slide you forward a bit. This probably saves a few frames at most, if anything over just holding B and following through with running after your roll.
  • To get the next roll to connect from the Mini Necky to the snake, you need to start your roll while you're inside of the Mini Necky. To get this same roll to continue into the next snake, tap B at any point after rolling through the first snake
  • Bottom route saves over a second over top route (taking the bonus)
  • At 0:19, running off the ledge and immediately jumping off the rope is the fastest option (compared to rolling through the rope and jumping, as well as rolling into the rope, jumping out of the roll, then jumping off the rope)
  • At 0:23, you can hold crouch right before the snake and it will kill him if you continue holding it. This saves ~8 frames over rolling through the snake and a lot more over waiting to jump over the snake
  • Copy the movement at 0:27 to despawn the Mini Necky's nut so you don't need to wait as long
  • The roll at 0:30 requires Jump Momentum Conservation to make it onto the platform like in the video. It's pretty lenient though and sets up the rolls in the next section nicely.
