*0:05: Make sure you release "Y" after rolling through the first kremling and repress after rolling through the second. If you don't you'll take damage on the second kremling. Sometimes as shown above you won't roll through the second Krem, it's pretty much random whether it happens or not.

*0:10: Do a moonwalk to enable rolling through all three kremlings.

*0:19; after rolling through this rat, holding "Y" until you're very close to the box, and repress "Y" right after the box. This is so you don't get a slow roll after passing the box, which means you can roll through the Kritter earlier. You need to run a few steps before initiating the next roll.

*0:20 release "Y" right after rolling through this Kritter, repress as early as possible once past the barrel. you'll need to run a few steps so your next roll won't be a slow roll.
*0:12: The jump over the rat is really tight, it's not a big time save and top runners regularly bounce on this dude. If you want you can just jump earlier and bounce on the guy instead of risking taking damage.
 
 
 
*At the end of the stage; sometimes your next input will be eaten after dropping off the hook, counteract this by quickly pressing "Y" and then jump.

Basic RTA Route

  • This stage is about releasing and repressing "Y" when you're going past the boxes.
  • 0:05 release "Y" right after rolling through the first Kritter, and repress after the second. If not you'll most likely take damage.
  • 0:08; Moonwalk to roll through all 3 Kritters.
  • 0:13; careful not to jump out of here too early.
  • 0:30; if you roll too early you will miss the second Kritter and most likely die, a safe bet is to roll when you're on the stairs.

  • 0:19; after rolling through this rat, holding "Y" until you're very close to the box, and repress "Y" right after the box. This is so you don't get a slow roll after passing the box, which means you can roll through the Kritter earlier. You need to run a few steps before initiating the next roll.
  • 0:20 release "Y" right after rolling through this Kritter, repress as early as possible once past the barrel. you'll need to run a few steps so your next roll won't be a slow roll.
