Do not pick up any of the chests lying around in this stage, avoid them by either jumping over them or by not holding "Y" when rolling past them.
0:03 :Make sure you release "Y" after rolling through the first kremling and repress after rolling through the second. If you don't you'll take damage on the second kremling.
0:07 :Do a moonwalk to enable rolling through all three kremlings.
0:10 :The jump over the rat is extremely tight, even top players regularly bounce on this guy.
At the end of the stage; sometimes your next input will be eaten after dropping off the hook, counteract this by quickly pressing "Y" and then jump.
