Do your best to cut corners, as with all water stages

  • At the start; Try not to cling to the walls on the first roll. The moonwalk is optional though it saves a decent chunk of frames in lag.
  • 0:10 At this point you want to crouch before going off the little ledge, you'll slide down to the lower part. Then hold down while the water rises, press "B" while holding down at the right timing and you'll be able to jump out of the water. The timing can be precise at first but it saves a decent chunk.

How you plan on playing Topsail later affects the ending of this stage; If you're doing the Dixie route just run into the goal and do a goal swap instead.
