Notes
- Team throwing into the Squawks barrel is slightly faster than jumping into it with 2 Kongs.
- At 0:40 fly against the left side of the tree opening to line Squawks up to fly past the Buzzers.
- The part from 0:47 to 0:50 is very difficult. Try to avoid getting hit and wait for a Swoopy to pass if necessary.
- The third bonus is deceptively difficult to do with two team throws.
- Wait on the right side of the branch at 2:14 to make the second Swoopy fly left sooner.
- If you did not get the first Boomer skip, you'll have to revisit Boomer's Bomb Shelter after Swoopy Salvo.
Optimal alternative 2nd half (with zips)
Notes
- By throwing the steel keg to the right as you're falling towards the koin, you can get the DK coin faster. Try to throw around the first banana.
- For the first zip wait until the Swoopy is at the spot indicated in the image below. Then do a jump and team throw.
- The alternative rope movement after the third bonus (0:37) is approximately 0.25 seconds faster than the movement in the optimal video.
- At 0:54 you can either jump over or crouch under the first Swoopy to set yourself up for the zip.
FAST ZIPS
Notes
- For both zips you can catch an earlier cycle.
- For the fast first zip, do a rope jump when Kiddy lines up with the top of the upper hole in the tree, as seen in the image below. This will line up the Swoopies to allow you to catch the earlier cycle. Team up, jump and team throw as soon as the Kongs are in the correct position to get the zip.
- For the fast second zip, make sure the roll at 0:10 is deep enough. This will delay the Swoopy spawn which gives you enough time to perform the team throw.
