Safe

Recommended if you're starting out

Notes

Sub Optimal (Diddysail)

This route is recommended if you want to graduate from the safe route because there's only one True Double Jump at the very start, it's a 3 frame window.

The rest are Short Hop double jumps.

  • 0:10 Do a moonwalk on the right side of the platform to spawn the blue guy later, allowing you to use the right side of the platform for a Team Throw. It can be finnicky so just rolling underneath the guy, jumping up beside him to the left and then Team Throwing is a slower but easier solution.
  • 0:19 Hold "B" when taking damage here to superjump. This state gets stored at 0:10 when you're team throwing diagonally.

Rattly's True Double Jump

Optimal (Dixiesail)

The fastest route.

This route makes Topsail the hardest stage in the early game due to the amount of True Double Jumps. It saves a couple seconds but is hardly worth it unless you're extremely confident in your Rattly movement.

  • 0:13 Be vary of the barrel to the left, it'll slow you down tremendously if you get caught in it.

Optimal Alternative

A more lenient alternative to the Dixie route.

Target Softlock Information

If Dixie hits the target at a pixel precise position of Y = 704, the game will softlock due to the camera scrolling far down on its own. The pixel is much closer to the highest point the target can be hit at from the left side (Y = 698) than it is to its lowest point (Y = 721), so it is safer to hit the target low in order to avoid the softlock.
