Gaming skills: SNES exclusively* yet sporadically**
*I legitimately have not touched another console or game since the N64 era **I am not gamer. My interest in the few SNES games we owned (3 to be exact) waned when we got good enough to start beating them (1.75 to be exact-ish)
Once in a blue moon, though, I unearth my ancient device for a trip down memory lane which always involves a good ol’ DKC binge.
Now, after 20+ years of practice accumulation, the sporadic binges seemed to be paying off, so I decided to put mah skillz to the test via an all-stages speed run.
Clocking in at 70 minutes, my attempt turned out to be “leaderboard worthy” (albeit just barely!!! 🤣). Then, after a night of additional practice and some research, I ran it again in 56 minutes 💪
Despite the 20% time drop (14 minutes), I am yet to break into the top 100.... Till next year’s binge, then! 🙋🏻♀️
