Just hit him 5 times and he falls over. You can score a quick kill on the last hit, ending the fight faster.
Any%
- The first boss in the game, just hit him 5 times, ideally as soon as he becomes vulnerable.
- Rolling and hitting him with an uppercut on the first hit is risky and only saves a few frames, for full game runs it's probably better to just jump in.
- You can use his third "squeak" to time a full height jump to land on him optimally.
- If you get the final hit before he jumps you can score a quick kill where the victory fanfare starts immediately instead of waiting for him to go through his defeat animation, which saves 171 frames.
Without Quick Kill
- Missing the quick kill is nearly 3 seconds slower.
