- The bee is pretty predictable and easy to optimize in this game so this fight should be a functional autoscroller. Just follow the pattern above, she always does the same number of zig-zags and then moves to the same corner after becoming vulnerable.
- If you stand on whichever side she is going towards, she will fly straight into the barrel and hit herself.
- If you plan ahead you can make sure you're standing on the outside of the zig-zag when she becomes vulnerable, making the instant hits slightly easier.
- Throwing the barrel for the first shot is about 0.2 faster, make sure to release B while holding A to get the throw while jumping. If you miss the shot it loses a considerable amount of time, so just running the barrel into the bee for safety is fine too.
- In case something goes wrong, Diddy can still jump up and reach her at the top of the screen.
