DKC GBC Level Notes

• In order to achieve 101% on a save file, you must beat the game 3 times: once normally, once with DK barrels off and once with star barrels off. The 87% category is designed to be the equivalent to traditional 101% without requiring 3 completions. This category requires all bonuses, all Candy's challenges, and the 6 stickerbooks which are available in the first (normal) loop of the game.
• The movement in this game is really technical, but it's perfectly fine to ignore the tech and focus on simpler movement. These level tutorials are designed to go as fast as possible while still prioritizing consistency, so the strats will be pretty aggressive and technical overall but janky inconsistent IL strats will be avoided. Within that context, strat videos should only be taken as a demonstration of what's possible, rather than a definitive guide of how to play.
• All mentions of time stamps will be based on the clock shown in the video, not the YouTube video time.
• Timing is done manually and will therefore always have some level of inaccuracy in it. Times shown in the videos should not be assumed to be precise to the hundredth of a second. Timing differences as mentioned between strats and routes is subjective and not always based on exact research.
