- Swap to Kiddy, as he is faster for the first 2 worlds.
- Buffering the roll after the jump at 0:06 gives Kiddy a small speed boost.
- Only if you are playing on the North American version of the game, you can press start and select on the flagpole to exit out of the stage immediately. This applies to all non-boss stages.
