A very precise and somewhat technical cave level.

Any%

  • It's faster at the start to roll off the ledge instead of jumping off it. You can squeeze in 10 walking frames before going off the ledge.
  • The camera locked roll after the first crawlspace is tight but useful to delay the snake to allow passing the second crawlspace immediately. Make sure to get a little distance from the first crawlspace so you can turn around and roll left without going back into it. If you skip this camera lock, you can bounce on the snake instead which makes up some of the time.
  • It can be helpful to hit the snake at 0:12 to help make it to the next crawlspace using a stored extended roll.
  • The bonus saves about 10 seconds. Be careful not to run into the barrel cannon. Upon exit, it's faster to turn back and roll through the Necky
  • The jump over the Mini-Necky at 0:30 is tight but helps set up the roll from the first elevator across the second. It helps to ensure you have full stamina so you can just roll twice on the approach to the Mini-Necky.
  • Make sure to get close to the first Klump at 0:34 before rolling so Diddy doesn't get bounced back by the second Klump.
  • At 0:41, instead of rolling directly from the third elevator through the Klump, it's slightly better to land next to him and get a meaty hit to carry the boosted roll further.
  • The roll through the second Klump at 0:44 directly to the 2nd platform is precise and only slightly faster. The key is to get gravity glitch before rolling and roll from as close as possible to float as far as possible across the gap with boosted roll speed. The safer option is shown at 0:51 in the 87% video.
  • At 0:46 use your stored extended roll (from the Klump) off the elevator and across the platform. At 0:48, reroll instead. The reroll is slightly better on the second platform because the distance is longer.
  • The elevators at the end should naturally already be in a pretty good position but it is possible to do some camera shenanigans to squeeze a few frames at the end.

  • The level is mostly the same besides a bonus at the beginning (0:02) and another at the end (1:07).
  • The safer strat is demonstrated at 0:51. The bee can hit you, but if you jump immediately it is consistent.
