Notes:
- Most people do an extendo through the 2nd Krem at 0:15, with the repress being right at the ledge. This seems like it gives you slightly more distance than just rolling through him.
- The timing for being able to jump over the tire at 0:17 and leave it behind is tough, but being able to leave the tire behind before the lower crawlspace section is important for consistency. A big factor in being able to leave it behind is where you start your roll into the tire in the section under the halfway barrel. If you are having trouble with the tire, you can just jump over it instead of taking it with you.
- At 0:18, it's optimal to zip through the small crawlspace and immediately jump such that you bonk your head and fall down into the lower crawlspace section. Alternatively, you can just do a regular zip and let your roll continue down (loses ~8 frames), or just do 2 jumps through the crawlspace.
- In the tire cave, you need to land just after the last tire in order to have room to jump into the next crawlspace. If you zip through the crawlspace before this section, just holding right usually set you up for the jump. If you mess up the zip and need to jump through, you will need to do a dpad release at the end of the tires to land on the normal ground and have the opportunity to jump into the next crawlspace.
- You'll need to hold down to stall for the bees in the crawlspaces to allow yourself to still be able to jump after waiting for them.
- The zip -> jump (headbonk) while exiting the last crawlspace in this section allows you to zip while also getting a meaty roll off the right side of the tire afterwards (saves ~0.25s)
- The jump at 0:31 is tight ("Spooky Jump"). Too early and you don't make the platform and die — too late and you hit the bee. The sweetspot for the jump is directly in the middle of the tire or slightly after it.
- It is possible to jump out of where the G is without letting go of the dpad and without hitting the corner, but it is quite hard.
Bee Skip Visual
KBZ's setup for Bee Skip
- After the second crawlspace in this video, I release B so i don't jump like crazy on the tires section and softly releasing Right at the end so i don't go in the crawlspace and crouch. Then, I jump in and wait (pressing down+B) until the bee starts to go up, and I roll right after I get out of the crawlspace to get in the another one. Same with the next bees.
Safe
Notes:
- It is highly recommended to learn fast crawlspaces as soon as possible.
- To perform them, roll towards them and hold down+right and Y as you jump through. As long as you continue to hold down, you can keep jumping, even if you aren't moving forward.
- If the roll at :11 is dying before the bee, you can just opt to jump over him instead. If you want to get it right, though, see the notes under the optimal video.
